The Company

 Wiers, established in 1964, has six locations providing repair, maintenance, truck rental and leasing, for commercial vehicles. Three locations are International Truck dealerships selling trucks and parts in addition to service. Wiers Fleet Partners currently consists of three "independent service centers" with plans to add more locations. Future service centers will be a combination of start-ups and acquisitions. In addition to dealerships and service centers, Wiers provides fleet analytics & consulting to companies operating commercial vehicles.

 The Role

 Wiers is adding a sales leadership position to our Senior Leadership Team. The position will office in Indianapolis and oversee sales functions for both Wiers International Trucks and Wiers Fleet Partners.

 The role will be highly involved in business strategy development and execution. Responsibilities will include managing an existing staff of six sales people, growing the sales organization as needed to support company goals, developing relationships with key accounts, evaluating strategic business opportunities, evaluating and making recommendations on new services, products, and pricing strategies, plus contribute to overall company vision and strategy.

 The Right Background

 We are looking for candidates who have track records of increasing sales responsibility in a business to business environment. Candidates have personal experience selling products and services directly to the end-users of their products. Experience leasing, renting, or selling commercial vehicles is valued in this role.

 Today, our candidate might be a sales manager, regional sales manager, or sales director working in a private company with revenues over $50 million. They have built and lead sales teams of ten or more people. The candidates have benefited from quality coaching and mentorship from their supervisor as well as other key executives in the company. The role has honed their skills in time and territory management, developing others, and hiring.

 Personality wise, the company is looking for an individual with high intellectual horsepower. The right candidate is action orientated, possesses high integrity, and is naturally curious. Our role requires candidates who are able and willing to interact positively with different personality types.
